General informationGeneral information about services included and not included in the price of the cruise is provided in this brochure.
EmbarkationBoarding usually starts 3 or 4 hours before departure time which would be shown on your ticket. Registration finishes 1 hour before ship departure, except American ports where registration ends 2 hours before departure. During the time of entry traveller have to follow certain steps:
CurrencyFor destinations to Mediterranean sea and North Europe official currency is euro but destinations to Caribbean sea, South America and South Africa currency is US Dollars.
Service chargeClient service charge is for staff member who is working on the ship and who will be looking after you during the journey. Service charge will be added to the final bill which you have to pay in the end of the journey. Service charge amount and currency depends on client age and chosen destination. Starting from 2016/ 2017 year autumn-winter season MSC has different types of service charges:
Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Antilles, Canary Is. and Emirates / Grand Cruises to/from Emirates, Antilles, Canary Is.

Meal on the ship
Meal times could change because of your arrival time but that will be updated daily. MSC offers special dietary requirements but that have to be notified before departure.
Dress CodeWhile relaxing on the ship we suggest you to wear something casual and comfortable. Formal wears for the dinner time. Gala dinner women’s require wearing long dresses, men’s have to wear dark suite. Less formal evening’s women’s require to wear summer dresses and men’s light material jackets. Formal evening’s women’s require wearing cocktail dresses and men’s light material suite or almost formal suite.
When going to excursions have to choose comfortable and free clothing and have to keep in mind different culture dress requirements for example: can’t wear shorts or short skirts or swim suites, have to cover head or shoulders while going to temples etc. All information will be provided in excursion guide leaflet to avoid disappointment.
Smoking areasSmoking is permitted in several location on each ship, and on the side (indicated by signage) of the main pool desk. Please refrain from throwing cigarette butts over the side of the ship, as they could be blown back on board and start a fire. Smoking of cigars is only permitted in the dedicated “Cigar Lounge”, where available, or in smoking areas on the open decks.
Daily programEvery evening cabin cleaner will leave detailed next day’s plan. There will be all information about entertainments offered by “MSC Cruise” in the leaflet, about, meals and timings, great deals and offers on the ship and excursions.
EntertainmentMSC is offering wide range of entertainment to make your time more enjoyable: Access to high standard gym, different kinds of games, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard, pool. Take part one of our singing and beauty competitions (who knows maybe you are the lucky one) or take a part one of our mask ball party’s!! We haven’t forgotten about special occasions in your life too for that we are offering to hire live music singer.
